The VCF or Vaginal Contraceptive Film is a 2-inch by 2-inch sheet that contains Nonoxynol-9, a spermicide. The VCF is placed into the vagina and against the cervix where it dissolves. Protection lasts up to 3 hours. The VCF must be replaced each time you have intercourse.
